Call of Duty: WWII, a first-person shooter video game. It is not like its predecessors. The advanced movement system present in the previous Call of Duty titles (which included double jumping and wall-running) has been removed. It features traditional movement returning to the series. This brings it back to its original “boots-on-the-ground” gameplay style. As in the previous titles, the game also features unlimited sprint mechanics. WWII has a new mechanic called “hit-the deck”. This allows players to jump forward and toss themselves onto the ground to gain speed. It is similar to the “dolphin dive” used in Treyarch’s Call of Duty: Black Ops II and Call of Duty; Black Ops II.
