About the Job Simulator
Owlchemy Labs has published Job Simulator: 2050 Archives, a virtual reality simulation game. The job museum is populated by robots that resemble floating CRT monitors and have faces. Players can take part in simulation jobs. These jobs are tongue-in-cheek resemblances of real occupations, including “Auto Mechanic,” Gourmet Chef, Store Clerk, and “Office Worker.” The computer character provides guidance and exposition while the players do tasks related to their occupation. Some are realistic; others are comical. In the simulation of the Office Worker, for example, the players are required to evaluate new employees and transfer calls. They also have to share photos at the water fountain and other office tasks.
