The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (also known as the 2014 film of that name) is an action-adventure game set in the open world. It was developed by Beenox and published in Activision. The game is a sequel to 2012’s The Amazing Spider-Man and follows the same continuity as the films.
The main storyline of the game loosely follows that of the film. It introduces new threats to Spider-Man, namely crime lord Kingpin and serial killer Cletus Kazady. Cletus Kasady’s twisted sense of justice is considered a dark reflection of Spider-Man.
