All Pokemon confirmed to appear in Scarlet & Violet

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet are still a few months off, but if your goal is to get a feel for what Pokemon will be in the Paldea region of the game, Fanbyte has a complete list that includes every real pocket monster in the game’s open-world.

Here’s a list containing the names of all returning Pokemon from previous games. It’s reasonable to assume that these Pokemon’s evolutions and pre-evolutions will be included in Scarlet & Violet. However, because some Pokemon can evolve into new forms in different regions, we have only included trailers that explicitly showed them. Pikachu, for instance, is included on the list. Raichu, however, is not. We have yet to see if Raichu will get a Paldean variant. This list was updated as of August 3 Pokemon Presents.

Next up are all the new Pokemon to debut in Scarlet & Violet. These range from the starters through the legendaries.

  • Cetitan

  • Lechonk
  • Miraidon

These are the Pokemon we have so far. While it is not surprising that the National Dex will not be brought back by the games, it does mean that not all Pokemon from previous games will be coming back. This can be a good thing. However, Game Freak did not pivot following the change in Sword & Shield. Pokemon Scarlet & Violet will be coming to Nintendo Switch in November 18.
