Many GTA Online players are so focused on becoming rich that they spend months executing dangerous sales missions and daring heists with their crews and strange friends. However, very few of them have tried increasing their experience through Facebook Marketplace.

You won’t find any value on this platform unless you are looking for GTA 5 inadequately packaged to convince people that it’s GTA6.

This isn’t the only GTA-related scam being used on the market, as Reddit user has noticed.

Ever thought you would see a car on Facebook Marketplace from GTA Online?

This bizarre find was the subject of a thread in the GTA Online Subreddit. It began with a post by user breezy23d2, who shared an in-game supercar for sale on Facebook Marketplace for $750,000. The listing attempted to claim it as a 2021 Ferrari sports car/Special Edition.

Despite the car being listed as a bargain with 300 miles on it, one previous owner and, oddly, an automatic gearbox, breezy23d2, was not convinced. They captioned their post: “I hope the person isn’t serious trying to make money from this.”

Their fellow players were also suspicious, with FormulaZR user FormulaZR stating: “If someone thinks that it’s a Ferrari, they should lose the money.”

Many pointed out that the car is advertised as a Ferrari due to the paint colour. However, it is a Progen T20. This in-game car was modelled after the McLaren P1.

Others responded with more sarcasm, with user xJustYourBoi joking: “That’s a steal!” It usually sells for 2.2 million in-game dollars. AHUenthusiast909 joked: “I already sent it the money. Are you sure it is fake? Oh, darn it.”

BroknLuck2077 suggested that this GTA car isn’t unique to Facebook Marketplace. He said: “Someone did it the same way in my area with a new Ruiner.”

We reached out via Facebook to the mysterious seller of the car, primarily to find out if the vehicle could be purchased for ourselves. If they do, we will update this article.

In the meantime, don’t worry about whether you have ever paid three-quarters million dollars accidentally for a virtual car. We will continue to provide more GTA Online and TGA 6 updates as new cars and more arrive.
