Life in Skyrim is dangerous for NPCs. Anger players can cause trouble, hunting down those who might rat out the guards.

Sometimes, however, these frustrated adventurers focus their attention on the details of the game that grinds them.

This has been the case recently for a plot hole in Helgen’s iconic intro sequence. However, there is another Reddit thread that has offered a safe space to vent your frustrations.

Which is your most nuclear Skyrim take?
The thread was started by user nstzz in the Skyrim subreddit. He wrote: “I’ve done it before, but it’s been a while; I wanna listen to your Skyrim unpopular opinion.”

The players started to laugh at their incendiary views like unhinged fire mages. ShadowAgent41 provided four additional items for one.

They weren’t alone in thinking magically. Keerakh7, a user, suggested that “Restoration” is indeed the right school for magic. North countryman also said, “Playing Skyrim VR with a mage is the best way to play Skyrim.”

Others, however, were more concerned with how specific mechanics are integrated into quests. ThePatrician25 said: “I hate forced lycanthropy within the Companions questline. While I can accept the Companions having werewolves, the questline that forces them to do so is unacceptable. Shor’s bones, no. Martheukerofhoek says: “The werewolf shape is boring and could have so much more.”

JonhConrad33, a user who disliked some quests, said that “(The) Meridia’s Beacon quest was a good mission.” A fun dungeon-clearing quest that rewards with a great reward.

FrekiWolfhart was one of the many users who had strong opinions about modding the game. “The base game is delightful,” Bobicus_The_Third added: Mods make it more likely that you will quit the game rather than finish it. It’s a compromise.
