The Witcher is the focus of all eyes regarding the fourth installment. Although The Witcher 4, colloquially known as is still in development, we know it will kickstart a new saga that will include several titles. However, the new-gen The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt version is still in development, and CD Project Red has provided an update.

CDPR has confirmed that the new-gen The Witcher 3 remake is still scheduled for release this year. The studio presented its upcoming release schedule, which included The Witcher 3 – Wild Hunt Complete Edition, at a recent earnings conference. This slide showed a Q4 2022 release date. It means that the game will be released between October and December.

The slide described the game as being “enhanced to next-gen” but teased some “Netflix additional content.” We don’t know much about the plot, except that it was revealed that Geralt would be wearing the same armor seen on the TV series.

The Witcher 3 Complete Edition will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The update will be free for those who already own the game on older-generation consoles. New players are not yet eligible for the retail price.
