Red Dead Redemption cannot be streamed on PlayStation. This is due to changes to the PlayStation PlusPremium subscription.

It’s unfortunate because Red Dead Redemption II led to many new players jumping over to the next game in the series to continue their Van Der Linde story. This is also the end of a six-year stint on PlayStation Now. It likely surprised a few people as Sony didn’t announce the news.

You can laugh if you have Red Dead Redemption in your possession and your PlayStation 3. Additionally, Xbox owners are able to play the game thanks to backwards-compatibility. The beautiful and tragic world of Red Dead Redemption has also been enhanced by 4K paint on the Xbox Series X or Xbox One X. Those on the Xbox Series S receive 1440p support.

Some people believe that this could mean a re-release of the game or remaster. However, considering the way the Grand Theft Auto Trilogy – Definitive Edition was shaken out, it may not be the case.
