Reshape distant planets and explore them! Astroneer takes place during the 25th Century Intergalactic Age of Discovery. Astronomers travel to outer space and risk their lives to uncover rare discoveries and unlock the universe’s secrets.
Space sandbox adventures allow players to work together to build bases above or below the ground, create vehicles that can explore vast solar systems, and use terrain to make anything they want. To thrive on exciting planetary adventures, players must have creativity and ingenuity. In Astroneer, you can:
Shape the ground beneath your feet like clay.
Astroneer lets players use their deform tool, which allows them to collect, shape, and dig any type of material they want. This ability allows you to dig deep into the earth, create a ramp to the sky, and build megaliths by simply using terrain.
Explore carefully designed planets and survive on them.
The vast solar system contains 7 unique planets that players have the opportunity to explore. These include the entire surface of the solar system and the treacherous layers and caves down to the mysterious core. Each planet has a unique surface and cave biomes, offering players many challenges.
Combine components and objects to create bases and vehicles.
Astronomers can take items they find and create new creations. You can customize and decorate your Astroneers’ bases, vehicles, or the base itself.
Join friends in a 4-player online drop-in/drop-out co-op.
Astroneer works better when you have friends. Collaborate with your friends to build massive industrial bases or create games in the vast creative sandbox.
