Ori and The Blind Forest is a platform-adventure Metroidvania game that Moon Studios developed. Microsoft Studios published it. The player controls Ori (a white guardian spirit with an indeterminate gender) and Sein (the light and eyes of Spirit Tree). Ori can jump and climb and can use other abilities to navigate. Sein can use Spirit Flames to defeat enemies and break down obstacles. Ori must interact with the environment, jumping from platforms to solve puzzles. Ori needs health shards and energy shards. The player can help her acquire new abilities and upgrades. The game world is presented to the player in the style of Metroidvania.
