The player’s main task is to create a friendly town that residents will want to live in. They must be motivated to make the town attractive and provide all amenities such as churches and hotels.

This world is dangerous, and high walls with towers are not the best. A player may experience a winter so harsh that his eyes can be hurt or even the plague. Bad weather is not always a problem.

The overall development strategy will include long-term planning. It is possible to clear the forest quickly, and there will be no place to restock it.

It is, therefore, more profitable to plant new trees in vacant areas and allow the forest tracts to recover. Climate and weather are also important.

The amount of crops that the fields can produce depends on the weather and the season. Residents are doomed if they don’t have enough food for winter.

Vikings can attack the castle from time to time and kidnap people. They also set fire to homes. Down to the last detail, you must organize the defense to protect against them.

All the details, including the height and location of the walls and the number of towers or archers, are determined by the player taking into consideration the terrain. A fire-breathing, flying dragon can also attack the settlement.

Although the graphics are simple, the transformation of a small village into an inaccessible citadel with one stone building is quite impressive.

The building will move to an area next to it when the territory within the first wall of fortresses is finished. The second fortress wall must be built, and so on.

The fortress becomes a bastion similar to those attacked in the final missions of the Medieval II Total War campaign.
