*sigh* Where do I begin? It’s 2015, so why is this game being held at 30fps? You can edit the frame rate limit but it is not editable. To change the frame rate, you will need to go to the config instead of the main menu. The game is extremely optimized, so it doesn’t matter what. Whether the frame rate is 30 or 60 frames per second, it will drop significantly. Even a single GTX 970 won’t be enough to maintain 30fps. This is absurd. Warner Brothers should be embarrassed to release a game such as this.

Update 1: There is no patch at this time, but I did some tweaking to the config file. Standing still, or moving slowly, I can maintain a steady 60fps. But, as soon as I start gliding about or jump into the Batmobile, the frame rate drops from 50 to the low 20s. The worst thing is that every once in a while the frame rate would drop to single digits. This has been noticed by many others. It is difficult to maintain a steady 60fps, or even 30fps for the moment unless you are playing Batman: Walking Simulator.
Update 2: I was able to play the game briefly, so this post will focus on the gameplay. This game is amazing. You will never feel more Batman-like. You feel powerful. It feels incredible to explore Gotham City. My only issue with the gameplay was that driving the Batmobile around in “Pursuit Mode,” felt awful. It was difficult to turn around corners without hitting something. Add that to the poor frame rate, and I would rather glide through Gotham City than drive a Batmobile. It’s the most frustrating thing in the game. The “Battle Mode”, however, is fantastic because it makes it much easier to move with it on.
