Diablo 2 Resurrected Season 4 Dates and Times
Though our first attempts did not go as planned, they still allowed us to make an estimate as to when Diablo II: Resurrected might start and finish development.
As Season 3 began in mid-February, we estimated that Season 4 might begin sometime during June or July 2023 and reach its conclusion sometime before October.
Blizzard recently made it official that their new season will start sooner, on May 4.
Diablo II Resurrected Season 4 Will Begin May 4, 2023
End Date for Resurrected Season 4 Estimate: September 2023 based on GameWatcher Analysis In a subsequent forum post by developer Blizzard Entertainment confirmed that with the commencement of Season 4, all ladder positions would reset.
“Ladders will reset on May 4, with the beginning of a new season. Resetting generally takes place 15 minutes prior to starting on a new ladder,” wrote Community Manager PezRadar.
“[Ladders have consistently begun at 5pm Pacific time for Season 4], according to organizers of Global Ladder Wars.
Blizzard is “working towards providing some flexibility between D2/D3/D4 Diablo games in terms of season releases for players who may prefer exploring multiple titles within their community.”
As is likely to occur before season 4, detailed notes about patch 2.7 should become available around May 2, 2023 a few days ahead of its commencement.
PezRadar has confirmed there will not be a PTR cycle and that the patch size will be small.
