DreadOut game shows us Linda traveling on vacation with her friends and Ms Siska as teacher, taking an unexpected turn onto an abandoned road and collapsing bridge that they eventually reach by walking further along. They eventually come upon an isolated town where their journey ends by foot. They discovered a school building where everyone entered except Linda and one of her friends.
On their return, however, it became evident that one member was missing. The group decides to enter the school building again and search for their friend; unfortunately they become trapped inside it and Linda becomes separated from everyone. She wanders alone around it discovering evil spirits and ghosts she can only combat by photographing them on smartphone.
