TOTAL WAR: WARHAMMER 3 ROADMAP 2024
Creative Assembly has now shared the eagerly-awaited Total War: Warhammer 3 plan of action that details the changes as well as new content to be included in the epic strategy over the time following the official launch.
Total War: Warhammer 3’s plan of action was announced following the final installment of the trilogy, which was slower than previous entries. While some of the features, such as the map that combined Immortal Empires and blood DLC have taken longer to be released and are now available, we have the best idea of what’s to come to see in the coming years.
Total War: Warhammer 3 Roadmap
The first step in Total War: Warhammer III’s schedule is set for late in May 2022 when the patch 1.2 went live. It addresses a wide variety of problems that gamers have noticed since the the game’s launch.
This included AI re-building towers too fast as well as flying units being stuck while trying to the ground, and snow becoming too intense, as well as players becoming stuck in the Slaanesh’s realm.
The other features planned for Patch 1.2 was auto-resolve improvement that slowed the feature’s scale and changed it so that it is determined by the difficulty of the battle you choose to play. Reactivity improvements for units – that the game’s creator describes as an “long-term project” and was implemented in conjunction with the reworking of technology trees and a leaderboard reset and the introduction of brand new Regiments of Renown.
These more robust versions of current units were previously available as DLCs, but this won’t change, Warhammer III’s “first few updates” included no-cost Regiment of Renown units for all of the main races.
Q3 2022
The third quarter of 2022 proved to be a more busy period according to Total War: Warhammer III’s road map.
Update 1.3 promised improvements to Grand Cathay’s attack on formation which allowed the faction to be more effective in frontal confrontations.
The skills tree’s reworks went on and Tzeentch and Slaanesh received their refill rate changed.
The other goal was to boost the number of battles in the field, and more improvements to the unit’s combatant interaction and responsiveness were planned as well.
Perhaps the most memorable aspect of Total War: Warhammer III’s Q3-2022 timeline is patch 2.0 that was released when you could download the Immortal Empires integrated map, scheduled for launch in August was released in an integrated open beta that was accessible across every platform.
At the beginning, the designer was focusing in “balance, map, races, and other areas where we can continue to make adjustments based on player feedback.”
Update 2.0 included a desperately needed revamp for The Warriors of Chaos faction alongside the tense Blood to the Blood God DLC.
Q3 also marked the date that Warhammer III’s initial Lord Pack was set to be released, expanding the number of characters in Warhammer III by introducing four new characters.
It was announced that the Total War Assembly Kit was scheduled for release in Q3, release that would give the community the resources it required to keep creating amazing modifications. It was released alongside the patch 2.1, which was slightly delayed from the original Q4 release date.
Q4 2022
In 2022, as the year came to a close, additional features were scheduled for Total War: Warhammer III’s road map.
Update 2.2 brought a new version of the game’s features based upon player feedback given in the wake of the campaign Immortal Empires.
In the hopes of a date of October 18, the game included adjustments that will reduce the amount of settlement battles and a brand new crisis in the endgame and a rebalance of character experience as well as the introduction of new Regiments of Renown, and many more.
Patch 2.3 was the final patch that the game got in 2022. It was focused on fixing bugs and balance adjustments that did not appear the final patch 2.2 along with a few others, including the landmarks and settlements with 10 slots for Immortal Empires.
Total War: Warhammer III 2023 Roadmap
It took for a while before Total War: Warhammer III’s 2023 schedule was fully explicit, but updates and DLCs for the game’s grand strategy were nevertheless rolling through the course of the time.

Instead of focusing solely on one race, it made the most of stories from Tzeentch, Cathay, and Kislev and introduced three brand new Legendary heroes, a legendary hero who is new, as well as the introduction of new units.
The update was followed by 4.0 that promised race as well as AI updates as well as settlement battle enhancements.

When 2023 came to an end, the update 4.1 acted as a minor interim patch. It brought improvements to bugs and game improvements. Siege battles have now been benefited by connected capture points as well as more barsicadade locations. Homing projectiles have been proven to be more secure, and several races have been given balance adjustments.
