Darkwood Overview
The game will see players explore, survive and fight in the dark forest.
The game is first survival and then a horror game. This means that you will be exploring the map, searching for items (picking-up garbage), resource management, construction, battles, and upgrades, instead of the usual horror theme of solving a mystery or being hunted down.
This is the most survival-oriented game we’ve ever played. We played for nearly 40 hours straight in one week. We haven’t been attracted to a survival game in a while, so players who enjoy it should not be disappointed.
This game does not contain any jump scares. The game’s portrayal of a horror atmosphere is quite extreme. We feel extremely nervous every time we enter the night.
The windows are sealed with wooden boards and surrounded by solid walls. Although the only open window and the one behind the door have been sealed with traps, our hearts are still beating. We stare intently at the corner and hide in the corners.
