Splatoon 3 is bringing back its popular winter-themed Frosty Fest event from January 11-13, 2025. The seasonal Splatfest will feature a new theme asking players what makes them happiest: money, experiences, or presents. Shiver will represent money, Fyre will stand for experiences, and Big Man will be all about presents.
Fans who missed the first Frosty Fest earlier this year can now earn exclusive seasonal rewards, including headgear items from Splatoon 2. These items—such as the Festive Party Cone, New Year’s Glasses DX, Twisty Headband, and Eel-Cake Hat—are available for free through the Splatoon Switch News channel.
The Frosty Fest event will transform Splatsville into a winter wonderland, with snow covering the buildings and festive decorations around the hub. This event marks one of the final seasonal updates for Splatoon 3, as the game nears the end of its post-launch support. However, with the next Nintendo Switch console on the horizon, fans are already speculating that Splatoon 4 may be in development.
For those who missed past events, Frosty Fest offers a great opportunity to experience the fun of Splatoon 3’s seasonal celebrations once again.
