Star Trek: Starfleet Academy simulates the life and experiences of Starfleet cadets. The player plays the role of Cadet David Forester (human Cadet), who leads a cadet group at Starfleet Command College in San Francisco. You must pass all simulated missions.
In addition to basic combat scenarios, the scenarios include a recreation of Kirk’s almost-disastrous encounter with Khan Noonien Singh on a starship. This, Kirk regretfully admits, is meant to teach cadets how to avoid making the same mistake that nearly cost his ship. The forester must also keep his crew under control and prevent personality clashes that could lower team performance.
