GTA Online players are divided on whether a stealth plane would be too OP
GTA Online has dedicated teams that relentlessly execute daring heists, dangerous sales missions and other sabotages to maximize their income.
The dedicated grinders have to face many challenges in pursuit of the green. However, the most frightening of these is often grievers who use potent vehicles such as the Oppressor 2 and Deluxo.
They could face a new headache, though a Reddit user has suggested a new addition to GTA that would make the game more robust.
Are you a fan of a stealth planes?
The GTA Online subreddit thread started with a post by user lewolfcow. He shared an image showing a jet landing and asked: Would a stealth fighter plane be too powerful if Rockstar added one?
Others thought otherwise, suggesting ways the jet could be made more useful but not too powerful. Competitive-Common91 said: “Honestly, it’s not. To give it, I would suggest using the B-11 type explosive ammunition (not insanely powerful rounds) and then (make it) like an Akula where you can’t fire while in stealth mode.
Kermit_El_Froggo_, on the other hand, suggested that there be no explosive machine guns but long-range lock missiles. A bomb bay door could be used to launch the rockets, making it take a while to get in and out of stealth mode.
User AKofJax said he’d say yes to the Akula because he’s been pretty good at it. This prompted anon-name-to respond: “If you have to specify that it’s only good (in the right hands), then it may not be necessary, considering how a fair portion of the player base is (liked) and how they’d utilize it.”
Skimask97 also echoed the sentiment, but in slightly more polite terms: “No, I (don’t), (you would) get grieved all day without knowing where (the griefer) is.”
This pessimistic view was similar to IndustrialDragon’s idea of how the jet would look if Rockstar added it in. They speculated that “it would not be weaponized, underperform and not have stealth capability.”
