Official Announcement of EA Iron Man Game
It’s there! It’s finally confirmed after many whispers from the rumor mill. EA has been working on an Iron Man video game with Marvel Gaming.
Marvel fans are in for a treat as a Captain America/Black Panther game is in development. Take a look below at the teaser.
EA’s Motive Studio, which was previously involved in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, is leading the project. “We are delighted to work with the talented team from Motive Studio to bring their vision of one of Marvel’s most important and powerful characters,” Bill Rosemann (Vice President and Creative Director at Marvel Games) said in a statement. Their experience in delivering entertainment worlds and exciting gameplay, combined with their genuine passion for the [armored] icon, will fuel our quest for a love letter from a legendary hero in the form of the ultimate Iron Man game.
The third-person action-adventure will feature a single player. It will “feature an original narrative which taps into Iron Man’s rich history, channeling the complexity and charisma of Tony Stark and enabling players to feel what it’s like to play as Iron Man.” This sounds like something out of a dream.
The game is currently pre-product, so we won’t see any of it until then. It has been confirmed, however, that this title is “the initial of many new games” made in collaboration with EA and Marvel. We may see more announcements soon.
