STELLARIS CONSOLE COMANDS AND CHEATS
Stellaris is a modern game launched with an abundance of console commands and cheats. They not only remind us of a time when frauds were common, but they also give players additional tools to have fun and overcome that annoying obstacle that prevents them from dominating this galaxy.
You will need to open the console to use Stellaris console commands or cheats. Press the tilde key () to activate the cheats and powers in the Stellaris console. You can only activate cheats for non-Ironman video games.
Stellaris Console Cheats and Commands
Below is a list of useful commands and cheats for Stellaris consoles. These should help you gain the upper hand or allow you to trigger exciting scenarios at your leisure.
- Debug tooltip: Reveals the target’s ID when you hover your mouse cursor over it
- activate_all_traditions – Activates all Traditions
- activate_ascension_perk (name) – Activates the specified Ascension Perk, pressing tab reveals the names
- activate_tradition (tradition ID) – This activates the specified Tradition. Press the tab to reveal the names
- Add_anomaly (anomaly ID) – Adds the (anomaly ID) to the selected celestial bodies
- Add_opinion (source), (target), (amount) – Increases (source’s) empire’s Opinion by (amount), default 40
- Add_relic (relic ID) – Grants, relic identification. This allows you to write all instead of just the
- ID. Numerous relics can be added to the same one.
- Add_ship (design ID) – Creates one ship in a fleet. Pressing the tab will reveal the NPC ship names
- Add_spynetwork_value – Target (amount). – Increases infiltration progress for a specified target
- Add_trait_leader is a leader id (trait ID) that adds (leader ID) to (leader ID). Entering only the
- leader ID will reveal all trait IDs of that class
- add_trait_species (species id) (trait id) – Adds (trait id) to (species id)
ai – Turn on or off the AI with a toggle
alloys (amounts) – Adds to Alloys (amount), default 5000 - Branch office – Own a planet branch office
- Build_Pops (amount – Adds (amount of robot pops) to the selected planet. Only works if the Empire is equipped with the technology to create robot pops.
- Cash (amount). – Adds (amount) of Energy Credits. Defaults 5000
- Colonize (colonizer pop ID) – This initiates the colonization of the chosen planet by using a copy of the pop with the ID.
- Create_Megastructure (megastructure ID) – This creates a Megastructure in your current system. Pressing the tab will reveal the IDs.
- Create_navy (amount). This creates a fleet that uses your latest designs. 1 = 100%
- Damage (amount). All ships in the fleet that are selected take (amount).
- debug_nomen: AI empires refuse player proposals
- debug_yesmen: AI empires always accept player proposals
- Effect add_building = Building ID – Adds multiple planet-unique buildings to the selected planet.
- Effect add_deposit =(deposit ID) – Adds (deposit ID) resource deposit or planet feature to the selected celestial bodies
- Effect add_district =(district ID) – Adds the (district ID) to the planet
- effect add_planet_devastation = (amount) – Adds (amount) of Devastation to the selected create_archaeological_site, negative values lower it
- Effect country_add_ethic = – (ethic ID) to the player empire. Using more than three ethical point will result in low-attraction ethics being removed
- Effect country_remove_ethic = – Removes the (ethic ID) player empire
effect create_archaeological_site = (archaeological site id) – Adds (archaeological site id) to the selected create_archaeological_site - effect set_primitive_age_effect = (age id) – Changes the age of a pre-FTL civilization to (age id)
- Effect shift_ethic =(ethic ID) – Changes the ethics of the player empire to (ethic ID)
- Event (event ID) – Triggers
engineering (amount). – Adds (amount). Engineering tech points default 5000 - federation_add_experience (amount) – Adds (amount) of Experience to the Federation, default 1000
- federation_add_cohesion (amount) – Adds (amount) of Cohesion to the Federation, default 200
federation_add_cohesion_speed (amount) – Adds (amount) of Monthly Cohesion to the - Federation, default 10
- federation_examine_leader – Triggers a Federation succession
- finish_research: Ends all active research
- finish_special_projects – Finishes all special projects
- finish_terraform: Finishes all Terraforming Processes
- food (amount). – Adds (amount). Food, default 5000
- Force_integrate (country_id). – Incorporates (country_id, Empire into the player’s Empire
- Free_government – Toggles that allow players to change their governments at any time
- Free_policies – Toggles that allow players to modify policies without restrictions, even policies that were previously disabled
- Grow_Pops (amount). – Adds (amount), growing pops to the selected planet.
- instant_build – Toggles the completion of constructions and upgrades instantly. WARNING!
- intel – Gives you a view of the whole galaxy and disables your first contact while you are active
- Influence (amount). – Adds (amount). Influence default 5000
- Invincible – Player ship will not be damaged
- Kill_pop (pop ID) – Kills
- max_resources: Fills all resource storage
- minerals (amount). – Adds (amount). Minerals, default 5000
- minor_artifacts (amount). – Adds (amount) of Minor Artifacts.
Observe – Changes to observer mode. Use the play command to revert to control. WARNING: - The AI will take over the player empire if the game is not paused in the observer.
- Own – You can take ownership of and manage the starbase, planet, or fleet you have selected
- Physics (amount). – Adds (amount of Physics tech points), default 5000
populate – Fills all housing on selected planets with pops. WARNING: This will crash the game as soon as version 2.5 is released - Planet_class (celestial bodies ids) – Changes the elected celestial bodies to (heavenly bodies ids)
- planet_happiness (amount). – Adds a modifier with (amount). Happiness on the chosen planet, default 100
- planet_size (size) – This will change the size of the chosen planet. It can be larger than regular sizes but cannot exceed 78. If the earth is moved backward, it will move to the right.
- Play (empire) – This allows you to switch from player control to Empire.
remove_trait_leader (leader id) (trait id) – Removes (trait id) from (leader id) - Remove_trait_species. (species ID) (trait ID) – This removes (trait Id) from (species Id).
research_all_technologies (Boolean) – Instantly researches all non-repeatable technologies. - You can also add 1 for crisis techs and space creatures. For repeatable technologies, add a second number.
- Research_technology (technology ID) – Instantly search (technology ID)
- Resource (amount), (resource). – Adds (amount) of (resource).
- Skills (amount). – Adds (amount), and skill levels to each leader under player control.
skip_galactic_community_cooldowns – Disables cooldown when proposing resolutions from the same group - society (amount). – Adds (amount) of Society tech points. By default, 5000
- survey – This is a way to explore all the planets. It requires at least one science vessel.
tech update – Re-rolls current tech options - Unity (amount). – Adds (amount). Unity default 500
unlock_edicts: Unlock all edicts
