The highly anticipated Lunar Remastered Collection will launch on April 18, bringing the classic JRPGs Lunar: The Silver Star and Lunar: Eternal Blue to modern consoles. Developed by Game Arts and published by GungHo Online Entertainment, the collection will be available on PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam, with compatibility for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
This remastered duology will feature updated graphics, re-recorded soundtracks, widescreen support, renovated pixel art, and high-definition cutscenes. Players can also switch to a “classic mode” to experience the original PS1-era visuals. The games will have fully voiced dialogue in both Japanese and English, with added French and German subtitles.
Quality-of-life features include a combat speed-up command and new strategies for party auto-battles. Physical editions will be available in select North American and European stores.
The Lunar series, which first debuted in 1992, remains one of the most beloved JRPG franchises. Fans are eager to relive these classics on modern platforms with these updates.
