Sims player was shocked by a barrage of humiliating, toilet-based deaths
Mod The Sims is capable of doing many crazy things, but the vanilla version of the game arguably offers just as many in terms of wacky glitches and funny occurrences.
It doesn’t matter if it’s a wedding gone wrong or a ghostly hug. Or a family of Keanu Reynolds clones. Things get weirder with every update.
Reddit seems to have one player more creative than everyone else regarding game-altering developments.
Do you remember a Sims game that went wrong?
A thread on the subreddit r/thesims has been started about the strange incident afflicting their game. It began with a post by ParticularWater8955 from the player, who declared, “All my sims puke themselves & die of embarrassment.”
They elaborated and explained that after the update, nearly all the sims in their neighborhood, including NPCs, had suddenly begun urinating at random intervals regardless if they were thirsty. This caused many to die of embarrassment.
Sims’ stans were between the desire to find a solution and the insatiable urge to laugh at the absurdity. Liliana, a Sims user, summarised the mood by saying, “I don’t know how to fix this bug, but I just laughed.”
User AndreaHBTL saved the day and asked ParticularWater8955: Are you playing through Origin? If it’s Origin, right-click (on) the game in (the library) and press repair. Also, press update. Uninstall and reinstall both applications,” confusedseel said, might not work.
On the other hand, user allnaturalfigjam picked up on ParticularWater8955’s comment that they’d disabled all of their mods, recommending: “(The) first thing I would do is disable all mods and see if that fixes it, then re-enable them one by one.”
