Fallout Tactics is Brotherhood of Steel, a real-time tactical role-playing game that uses turn-based tactics. It takes place in the post-apocalyptic Fallout universe. Fallout Tactics is a tactical strategy and combat game that departs from the other Fallout games. While players have fewer interactions with non-player characters than before, they can still trade with them, and some missions allow for dialogue. Fallout Tactics is not about towns. It centres around Brotherhood missions and bunkers. Quartermasters, mechanics and personnel yeomen can be found in the bunkers, which serve as the central hub of the Brotherhood. Sometimes characters from completed missions visit the bunkers. The general in charge of the bunker will give a briefing, and the player’s team can move to the location where the task will be carried out. This is often a small town, but it could also be a military camp, a factory or a vault. The map is marked with notes and objectives, and the player is then given it.
