Overview Mortal Kombat 11

Raiden sends Jax to Shang Tsung with Jacqui to retrieve the Crown of Souls. However, the pair are stopped by Cetrion and the present-day Jax, who was deceived and manipulated by Kronika. Hasashi is assigned to convince Kharon, Netherrealm’s ferryman, to come along their side and allow them to travel to Kronika. Hasashi fights his younger self and convinces him to join his side. However, D’Vorah takes his life. Scorpion chases her away, and she returns to the Fire Garden in honour of Hasashi’s dying wish.

An angry Raiden confronts him and resorts to Shinnok’s amulet. Liu Kang intervenes, and Raiden realises they have fought in different timelines. Their combined strength is what can stop Kronika. Kronika takes Liu Kang hostage to weaken the heroes. A joint Earthrealm/Outworld army is formed, and Kharon is recruited. Kronika’s Keep is attacked. Geras is dropped into the Sea of Blood, and Frost is disabled. Jax, the older, defected to the heroes’ side. Kronika then sends Liu Kang, a revenant, to attack Raiden.

Garden is Earthrealm’s only haven. Cassie is part of a strike team that saves her parents. Sonya kills Kano’s younger self to end his existence. Kung Lao, Liu Kang and Kitana battle Baraka to establish an alliance between them and Sheeva. Kitana defeats the Outworld factions, blinds them, and takes the throne from Kotal. Kung Lao and Raiden also appear at Earthrealm’s Special Forces Headquarters after they ally with Kotal Kahn, while Jade, Kitana and Kotal assist Kotal in protecting Outworld against Kronika’s forces.
