The Division Game Leak: Operators and Modes Available for Free
Ubisoft had The Division Heartland last year. The free-to-play title is currently in development at Red Storm. It is expected to be set within The Division universe. Ubisoft stated that Heartland was a standalone title that did not require prior experience with the series. However, we now have a better idea about Heartland.
VGC reported that a new product page was launched on the Ubisoft Store. It contained more information about the title. The game was described as being developed by Ubisoft Montreal and teased that it would be out “soon.” You can choose from six different classes; each match will give you your skills and perks.
The description continued to describe the game’s modes: “Fight together as 45-player PvEvP storm Operations against a Rogue group agent, an aggressive faction known under the name of the Vultures. All while you survive a deadly virus.” […] Completion of PvE missions. Gather gear, activate alerts, and prepare the battlefield for Excursion Operations.
It was removed shortly after its first appearance online. We can assume that it was accidentally published before the deadline. Ubisoft will be holding its Ubisoft Forward showcase from September 10th, so we may soon see the official unveiling.
