Flashbacks of Wolverine’s missions in Africa appear, before three years later he travels back home and meets Victor Creed; both begin fighting, which results in Victor winning and breaking Wolverine’s claws in defeating him.
After being hunted down and captured, Logan finds refuge from Colonel William Stryker at Colonel Stryker’s lab where they perform an experiment giving him metallic claws, then uses those claws to kill many of Stryker’s men before running away and testing his newfound power against Bolivar Trask and his Sentinels robots in combat with them and prevent Trask from capturing him again. Logan must use both memory from past events as well as present events to remember what has transpired between both times to discover exactly what has transpired between those moments that gave birth to who he truly was before facing Bolivar Trask as soon after that battle begins and remembering where and who exactly came into existence for himself in present day; therefore Logan must find ways in both past as well as present day ways in recalling what has transpired between then and present day Logan must recalling what had occurred between past events, in present time to recalling what had transpired between.
