A couple of months following the events of the manhunt that ended in the City of Rockport , Brian decides to go back to his home town: Palmont City and with a warrant of federal arrest on him.
When he returns to his home town, he discovers it chaotic and as he drives in the direction of his home, he is able to remember certain details about what transpired prior to leaving his Palmont City police at that moment. In a flashback turns out that a good acquaintance of his called Darius ( Tahmoh Penikett ) gave Brian the Toyota Supra so that he could participate in a race for Darius.
As the race begins, Brian starts to take the lead. However, when they reach the finishing line, others are assaulted by EMP weapons.which immediately shuts down the vehicles of the other racers apart from Brian’s green Toyota Supra used by Brian.
The moment that Brian is attacked it is the time that all Palmont City police arrive at the site and take all racers who participated but not Brian trying to drag his wife Nikki to the vehicle using the suitcase. However, his attempt fails and leaves the suitcase filled with gambling cash inside the car. Brian quickly flees the scene but is caught after he has checked the suitcase, he finds it.
