South Park: The Stick of Truth is an online role-playing game made by Obsidian Entertainment in collaboration with South Park Digital Studios and released by Ubisoft. The player is the character of New Kid as he explores the fictional Colorado town in South Park.
It is possible to freely move throughout the town, though certain zones are inaccessible until particular moments in the story are attained. Famous characters from the story–including Cartman, Butters, Stan and Kyle join the New Kid’s group as he goes on journeys. However, there is only one character present at all times.
