Xur is selling Vulpecula with an Impact Masterwork for Destiny 2
Xur is on Nessus this weekend, and our favourite Emissary of the Nine has something strange — a Hand Cannon that comes with a Masterwork that doesn’t belong there. He’s selling a Vulpecula with Impact Masterwork from Season of the Lost.
The Masterwork does not appear to affect your weapon, but that’s not the point. The Masterwork does not seem to affect Hand Cannons, despite having an Impact stat. At the same time, the Impact stat will go up to 80 when fully Masterworked. It won’t do anything. This isn’t the first instance in recent memory where Xur sold a weapon with a Masterwork or perk that doesn’t belong to it. He sold a Corsair’s Wrath and a Blast Radius Masterwork last week. He was dealing a Star and Shadow Pulse Rifle the previous month with a perk that changes daily. A week earlier, he owned a Chrysura Auto Rifle equipped with an Accuracy Masterwork.
This isn’t a great Vulpecula roll. Tunnel Vision/Opening shot for PVE and PVP are better options. It can be used as a novelty item or added to your growing collection of weapons with strange perks.
