Another Nvidia leak is this: 12 seconds of Helldivers 2 trailer footage has been leaked to Twitter before an official announcement. Helldivers 2 is a sequel, so it shouldn’t be surprising that this game leaked. In fact, since Helldivers (2015), Arrowhead Game Studios (also makers of Magicka) hasn’t released any new games. Last October, Arrowhead tweeted a cryptic binary code, which seemed to be a tease for a possible announcement. It’s time.
Sony published the first Helldivers on PlayStation, and it made its way to Steam in 2015 under Sony’s sponsorship. The first Helldivers was published on PlayStation by Sony. It arrived on Steam under Sony’s banner in 2015. The sequel is long in the making because Arrowhead supported Helldivers for many years.
The Helldivers 2 trailer has very little to offer. It only contains two lines of dialogue. “The aliens are right at our doorstep” “Democracy is in jeopardy!” The trailer does contain some disclaimer text, but it confirms that the game will be coming to PlayStation 5, and there is no mention of PC in the short clip that made its way to Twitter. We might see Helldivers 2 on the PC if Sony follows its latest playbook, but we may be waiting a while for a port.
Morgan Park, a PC Gamer, was a huge fan of Helldivers’ co-op shooting. He particularly liked the supply drop system that required you to punch in d-pad codes midfight to get ammo or powerups. If they weren’t paying attention, you could instantly squash them with airdrops, which he hopes Helldivers 2 will continue to support.
