Ubisoft has some really good news for Assassin’s Creed fans
Ubisoft has changed its mind about the imminent shutdown of online services for certain Assassin’s Creed titles. It now offers players a month to complete any remaining achievements that can only be achieved through multiplayer challenges.
Your favorite games will soon disappear as developers abandon maintaining their servers and tech to maintain them. While it makes perfect sense, this doesn’t make them any less annoying.
Ubisoft had announced earlier in the summer that the servers for Assassin’s Creed II and Assassin’s Creed III would be deactivated to allow it to “focus [its] resources upon delivering great experiences for those who are playing newer or popular titles.” The developer has delayed the deactivation date to give players a chance to enjoy the games.
“The single-player DLC for several PC games – Assassin’s creed Brotherhood, Far Cry 3, and Splinter cell Blocklist – will be available for download. Ubisoft explained that these DLCs could be activated before October 1 to allow you to continue playing them. The same single-player DLC for consoles will not be affected, and you can still download them and play them after October 1.
Roger Craig Smith, an actor, took a very mysterious photo. Smith was seen standing outside Ubisoft Montreal. Smith is the voice for Ezio Auditore and Batman in Batman Origins. He also voices Chris Redfield in a few Resident Evil games. Mirage in Apex Legends and the narrator on the reality TV series, Say yes to the Dress. Is he open to reprising his role as the most well-known fictional assassin? We’ll have to wait and watch
